Kudos to the server who questioned a $100 bill, who was only doing their job . As a business owner who once had to eat $200. because I didn't question the bills, The price I paid for not having A BOX OF MONEY CHECKING MARKERS , you live and learn.

I have to say..we have had more than a few lunches and dinners at the Charlton Tavern, we also Know the owners mother and aunt very well and frequent the Charlton shop they own and operate right across the street,I also know all of the cousins on the PD and Katie O'byrnes, So when I took my family to dinner at the Charlton Tavern tonight..had a nice dinner and so on, when it came time to pay the bill, I gave our server a 100 dollar bill and it seemed like what took 15 -20 minutes for him to return with our change...no change..instead he fumbled about trying to explain they wouldn't take the hundred because they thought it felt funny and looked funny and can't tell if it's a counterfeit or what ever he was trying to explain to us in front of the entire crowd of others trying to eat dinner. To say the least I have never been so insulted or embarrassed for my 12 yr old who at the time simply said to the server ( did you test it with one of those pens?) from a 12 year old...you know what he said next? do you have one because we don't have one, listen up owner of the Charlton tavern, if your going to be in the bar and food business, then you had better make sure if you accuse and embarrass along with ruin a families dinner and then expect them to pay for it after your employees make such a stupid accusation...you need to have serious one on one with the entire staff or JUST PURCHASE AN ENTIRE BOX OF MONEY CHECKING MARKERS!!! I think the $73.00 bill and the $10.00 tip to the server that was ready to crawl into a hole and bury himself along with us being irate. This has just caused you to loose a family of valued customers, we not only will never spend a penny in your restaurant again...but also in the shop across the street with your Mother or Aunt , nor will will we or any family spend any money at Katie O'byrnes ever again...also please be assured that we will spread this grave unjust story done on to us like the gospel itself.
