User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsi agree with kineraxn, this WAS a awesome place to see movie for a good price but now its horrible. charging $5 to bring in any food or drink. now it has 2 screens and 4 different movies playing everynight but i think i would rather go to the mall and watch movies. the reason you go to driveins is to bring your own food in and have a good time with the family.dumb dumb rule and i will never go there again!!! i hope they lose lots of buisness and change the rule!

Horrible drive-in.
$5.00 is how much they charge if you're carrying any food or drink in. If they catch you during the movie drinking/eating they fine you over double that or force you to leave. Yes, they come by your car, invading your privacy, shining in a flashlight, all to try and catch you breaking their rules so they can harass you.
I was told I had to pay $12.00 for a 12oz soda I was drinking that I happened to have in my car. I refused and they told me I had to leave the drive-in (this was 40min. into the first picture). They threatened to call the police and file charges if I did not leave. All over a soda. Needless to say, I will never go back, and I tell everyone I know not to go to the malta drive in.
I highly suggest you go to one of the other drive-ins in the area, do not give this place your business. Capitalism is fine, but if you want people to use your snack bar, improve the selection or prices...do not stoop to extortion.
