I'm new to the area and was looking for a mechanic to service my 2 cars. I have been ripped off in the past so I was looking for someone honest. These guys fix the problem you went in to get fixed and don't try to sell you other things. Went there for an engine light on, fast idle and smell of gas. They diagnosed the problem (Vacuum Leak) and fixed it for $77. It probably would have cost hundreds of dollars at a dealer. I highly recommend these guys!
I ONLY take my car to Jim's for inspection because I KNOW while I sit there Im not having to sweat that he is fleecing me. Case in point, I was there because the "Check Ebgine Light NOW" was on and he told me it could be one of possibly 2 things. He said I reset it so drive it a couple days to see if it comes on and if it does then you will have to figure on the more major problem that he thought it COULD be if it wasnt what he thought. BINGO, he was right as usual, it was just the air pressure in the gas tank and NOTHING more. I would have bought it if he said I needed a new engine BECAUSE I trust him. You son's who have older Mom's and you're not there to take care of them, have them go to Jim's because he is VERY honest and doesnt have to skeeve for work, he is busy every hour of the day without fleecing old ladies out of their life savings. I give Jim and his staff an A+ From Gladys
