Giffy's Bar-B-Q

My wife and I enjoy Giffy's. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. Though the ribs may be a little more expensive than some other places, Giffy's uses babyback ribs -- more meat for your money! That's always a good thing! There is a kids' menu, and they have a nice salad bar buffet with hot dishes on it for lunch.

We visited on a friday evening around 7 pm. The dining room was about 2/3 full and we were seated right away, the waitress was prompt and friendly.
Now the bad part......the food was terrible, the bbq tasted like it was some kind of preprepared product out of the freezer. The chicken was dry, dry, dry! Needless to say we won't be going back there. I was sooooo hoping for decent BBQ in Clifton Park......

This place is awful. Will never eat here again.: First of all, I should have known that something was wrong when I pulled into the parking lot. It was lunch time and it was empty. I decide to give it a go anyway. The beans tasted like they were poured out of a can, heated and served to us. My husband will eat anything so if he says something is tastes bad there is something wrong. The macaroni salad was equally disgusted. The food was horrible the meat was dry. It tasted like something you would buy at the grocery store. I will never eat here again. For some good bbq go to P.J.'s in Saratoga. The food there is excellent. Giffy's BBQ is garbage.
