It's not a bad place but not as stocked as Honest Weight Food Coop in Albany, NY. One incident did upset us , I'll explain as follows:
My cousin went in there a little while ago, and asked some 40-something woman with brown straight hair and glasses , if they take food stamps. The woman told my cousin it's too much paperwork for the owners to go through and they don't have "those" kind of people typically shop there. WTF? We're in a middle of a depression and some single parents need a little extra help and get food stamps until they get back on their feet.
Maybe the employee didn't mean it the way it came out in these sensitive times for some. Anywho bulk items are still limited and prices a little high. Other than this , ok place to stop in a jiffy . /-:
I'm giving them 2 stars because some of their products are good but their service is terrible. I asked if a product was in stock and you would've thought I asked for it on a silver platter. Apparently I was supposed to know the products they do and don't carry. You would think they'd be nicer to someone trying to give them business. I'll order things online from other retailers before I go back there. You can usually find it cheaper online anyway.
Excellent!: Green Grocer is a great local place to get all of your healthy grocery needs.

Where do you shop online? I am also looking for online organic foods
Wow, so we weren't the only ones given attitude or ignored? Check out the HWFC on central ave in Albany NY. Four Seasons in Saratoga is a great place too. AND both take food stamps if you're having a little trouble getting by. My props to both!
