Tammy's Candy Kettle

I had the absolute WORST, most expensive meal I have ever eaten at Tammy's this past weekend. It was my first time eating there, and I had heard nothing but good things. I will NEVER go back there and advise anyone thinking of stopping to eat to keep on driving. I ordered the 1/4 lb. cheeseburger cooked medium well. It came out the rarest I have ever seen a burger. It actually tasted like raw meat. I sent it back, and when it came out the second time it was still red in the middle. Tammy came out and told me there was not enough to throw back on the grill (I had taken 2 bites, total) and that medium has pink in it. Pink yes, red no. The bill came, they had not offered to take my burger off of it, even though I had sent it back twice and had a discussion with the owner about it, and not eaten it, they charged extra for PICKLE SLICES, and a side of bleu cheese, and never said a word about charging extra when we ordered. Awful service, awful food and the last time I ever stop there. Also, whatever you do, DO NOT use the bathroom. It is in a completely separate building and hasn't been cleaned in at least 5 years. Absolutely filthy.

5 STARS!!!
Great all year round for their amazing confections and knock out burger. Seasonally they have reasons for you to visit. At this time of year it is pretty spectacular there. They have an awesome corn maze for the whole family. The weekend we went they had a Blue Grass Band it was a great Autumn experience. I highly recommend a visit! Winter - make sure you get a Gingerbread House or your favorite sweets. Yum Yum!
