User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThis place was dirty. Period. The food was good. I had a Reuben with Steak Fries with a Labatts draught as a pre-food and a Guiness during. Man -- that Guiness was great. This place reminds me of a 99, maybe in 2025, with the dirt from 2001. Tables sticky, everything dirty. All the locals seem to stick to the bar. When you walk in, their eyes hit you, who are you to walk into their pub. Once you get past them, the waitess will tell you that you can sit anywhere, and watch one of their many wide screen TV's that are all set to the wrong aspect ratio (4:3 stretched to 16:9 so everything is fat and short). The waitresses are hot, young and hot. Great if you are in your 20's or early 30's or if you like making it with your daughter.
I did see everything that people ordered come out quickly and I didn't seem to see any complaints about the food or service. But would it hurt to bring a fire hose in and clean the place out? If they cleaned this place and made one main entrance that didn't dump you into the bar, this place could take on any bar and grille.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsmr: as a visiter from scotland i was so impressed by this bar a nice cosy place with many friendly customers the central figuire of all that was going on was the barmaid called linda who had a smile and friendly word for everyone im visiting albany again at cristmas and this place will definately be my local while im in the states
