you can tell that 5 star review was the owner trying to cover up for the truth. and the truth is that to watch what you spend and hold on to your recepts. because they will over charge your credit card. and make multiple or double transactions on your card. i had this happen to me. also the 20 dollar cover is ricicolus when all you do is walk in and after a few drinks you get so disgusted that you walk right back out. i dont know why thers such a big line at that place. when theres just the same ammount of people walking out as there is in. its like a great train that takes 20 min to get in and out.

really horrific: I had heard plenty about Jillian's from the radio, TV, and print media....all seemed to offer up a pleasant dining experience to look forward to.....unfortunately, this was not my experience at this establishment. The food was mediocre to poor, and the service was classically abominable. It was an eye opening experience. I now have a new low-benchmark to measure service standards by.

Better Places In the Area: I've been to Jillian's many times and its always about the same. Down in the arcade there's no one playing games usually. The bar is packed (but quiet). Go up to the resturant level and if there's a live band it's great, otherwise it's boring.

Finally up to where the dance floor is and its horrible. The a/c at times leaks from above so you have to dodge the dripping ceiling. I don't think anyone knows what a mop and pail are for since the floors are always sticky with last nights spilled drinks. Or here's something even better that adds a little joy to a woman's night- the 21 year old boys that are up there slapping females on the backside. The only highlight out of the whole place is visiting the ladies room where the funny lady sits and hands out paper towels.

If you want a real place to go and have fun- head up to Saratoga Springs.
