User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsIt is the best of the Mexican Restaurants in the Albany area. The owners make a great effort to be authentic while catering to the "gringo" taste. Good variety and fun ambience. Looking for Mexican? Then definitely the place to come.

if you're with friends or coworkers it's the coolest place to meet, just off the whole lark scene this restaurant provides a great ambiance with good service
our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and mexican food in general
beer selection was okay but the dessert menu kinda bummed me out with no fried ice cream...okay, i know, not exactly mexican, but it's still a good treat, too bad
the meal was really good, tamales, burritos and enchiladas were all very tasty
will eat here again-

El Mariachi is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Albany area. It has fairly authentic Oaxacan Mexican food. The atmosphere and staff are pleasant. The prices are fair and the quantities of food are big. Every meal I have had is flavorful and good.
