User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsReviewed from Yahoo! Movies: I have enjoyed the Spectrum for way too many years. While it is no longer the Foreign/Indie holdout it once was, I appreciate the need to make a living. A modest, locally owned "Yeah"! theater that actually cares about content and is the one place to go to see all the people you know.

Skip the Kiddie Scene at Crossgates.....: ....and visit a REAL movie theater. When you can get cake and vegan cookies at the concession stand why go anywhere else? Convenient location, large parking lot and a variety of nearby eateries make it a great spot. Movies for grown ups, with some major releases thrown in make it the place for movie lovers. An enjoyable variety of foreign, independent and commercial offerings insure that the 8 screen Spectrum will have something for most viewers.
A new plus, the Ultraviolet Cafe for coffee and tea and panini :) See you there.
