Amazing food... worth the wait (there always is one) because you can just hang around the town. Get the quiche or pancakes!
they are open 8-3 seven days a week, go for breakfast and get the pancakes, any kind, especially the grain and fruit ones, huge cakes with bananas, apples, raisins, walnuts, and cinnamon...mmmmmm soo good!
but their prices are a little higher than a typical breakfast diner.
As a Brit who loves American Diners above all else in the US, this place really surprises: great traditional food - well cooked and 'clean', a good atmosphere and a series of out of this world special dishes - mel's mexican hash is the best breakfast I've had
I regularly drive an extra ten miles to breakfast here. bad for the carbon footprint, and a real find in such a small town
