   The Freshtown in Amenia is fine. It's no Fairway, but it's got the best prices in the area. Even though it's in Amenia, NY, a lot of the license plates are from across the border in CT. The local markets: Trottas in Sharon has a terrible produce section. The La Bonne's in Salisbury has a better selection of thick cut steaks, but for everyday shopping, the Freshtown is the best around here.

   Disgusting!: If you like to pay premium prices for lousy, rude service as well as a dirty store that is cramped, then by all means, shop here. I once saw a RAT running out of the area where the cereal was! That was it for me! They charge the deli meats by the 1/2 pound and it is as much as their competitors charge by the pound!
