Ate here several times within the past 2 years and every time the food and service was wonderful!!I cant tell people enough about this place. I highly recommend it!!
OUT OF THIS WORLD!: New World Home Cooking has always been one of my favorite places to eat. Now with the addition of an out of this world sushi chef, it has sky rocketted to the top of my list!
I recently went there for brunch. Sixteen dollars for a buffet that will blow your mind. It featured fresh fruit, southwestern style grits, eggs benidict, bacon, ham off the bone. It also featured my two favorite things in the entire world! New World's famed pan blackend green beans, and all u can eat sushi! And the chef will take requests! You want spicy Tuna, Salmon, whatever you want, he makes it. It was heavenly!
I am planning a dinner there soon! The atmosphere for brunch was very pleasant, and everyone is eager, in a very laid back manor, to help you. If you wait till noon, you can have a champange bruch... it goes nicely with the large strawberries, and creme fresh... oOo soo good!
New World is a new style in an over fried, over buttered, over creamed world. The food is clean, and fresh! They use flavors that play off eachother to make your mouth pop with delight. If you like spice, you will love this food, they have a guide to the heat and u can request hotter or not, whichever you prefer.
As the location suggests, near Woodstock, the dress "code" is very laid back, and almost anything goes. Dresses to the nines would be almost over done here. It's more of relaxed dining atmosphere. It's all about the food, and enjoing yourself. Just as Woodstock is, NWHC is a very loving non~judgmental comunity of it's very own.
If you are more concerned with the price of food, rather than the flavor. Go to Friendly's, you'll get a truely generic meal, and probably love it. If you're thinking eww then NWHC may just be the place for you! Try it once, it's something you'll never forget.
