    Since the previous post, this place has become a Greek restaurant. It is NOT at all the same as before; I think if the new owners had changed the name, it would have been less of a letdown.

    The food was below average, but the service took FOREVER- over half an hour for appetizers and even longer for dinner. Not being particularly fond of Greek food, and discovering it was a Greek restaurant after being seated, we stayed but we will not be going back.

    Up and coming: Went there for brunch. Food was excellent and style was authentic.
    Chef came out for a brief and friendly chat. Its hip without attitude-reminded me of a small SOHO haunt "The New Deal" we brunched at.
