Gilded Otter Brewing Company

Please don't subject yourself to the torture that is the Gilded Otter. While the beer was decent, the hospitality was nonexistent and the food was literally frozen. If there is any room at Bacchus or Murphy's Pub, either are better alternatives to the Gilded Otter.

This place is good. I had my bridal shower there, and the staff was great and so was the food. My husband and I went back for our wedding anniversary and the food was great again. They also have really yummy frozen drinks. We're not beer drinkers, but I hear the beer is pretty good there.

I like having lunch here or weeknight dinner as it can get rather crowded on the weekends. The have outdoor patio seating with a view of the walkill and monhonk mtn. its a brewery so they have their own beer and the vats are right in the middle of the room. their burgers and hot openfaced sandwiches are good but MY fav, stay with me on this one, is the Pear Gorganzola Pizza. theres no sauce. it sounds funn but it is very good and reasonablly priced.
