It was one of the most memorable dining experiences in many years.
The food was delicious, the wine was very good, and the service was efficient and very attentive. It is loud, but the Italian love songs and the
animated conversations all around one, just seem to add to what was an outstanding culinary experience. Stephano`s is now our neighbourhood Italian restaurant and we will be introducing family and friends to it at the earliest opportunity.-

Well, I have read what some of you people wrote about the best ristorante outside N.Y.C, and to be honest with you, you have no clue what you are talking about. You people must go to the olive garden and say thats great food. I have been going to Stephano's for many years now. Not only is the food great, but the service is wonderful. There service is French style (the entire staff takes part in service on all tables, there is no set waiter. If your looking for a great place to eat, fare prices and alot of food, so much you will be taking a doggie bag home. Don't listen to what people say about this place... It is a gem. And for the people who had bad stuff to say, please go to the olive garden where you belong....

My family and I went there last night. Excellent food and huge portions! A must try! Although, the service was lacking.
We made a reservation and were seated right away. They had set up our table (4 people) in an awkward and extremely tight spot right near the route to the bathroom. We asked to change and our wish was granted. The blonde lady who took our order never asked what sauce we wanted on our pasta and assumed we all wanted the marinara. No one checked on us until it was time to pay the bill. Yes, they took our plates, but it was only to clear the table. I don't mean to complain, but if a restaurant is lucky enough to get our business during these hard economic times(large check..we went all out) then I believe we should walk out of there with huge smiles on our faces. I will be going back, just hope it is better service.
