Literally the WORST primerib I have ever ordered. I ate a second bite because I couldn't believe the first bite was really that bad. So tough I nearly choked.

Great place for kids (if they don't scare easily): Home of the talking buffalo. We've been a bunch of times; my oldest (now 8) finally doesn't freak out walking under all the taxidermy. My friend's kid won't allow his family to even go -- they tried once and the talking pine tree in the lobby scared the wits out of him.

But if that isn't a problem for you, the food is great! Excellent stakes (of course) but also salmon, trout, or pork chops. Opt for the smashed potatoes. And the red juice they keep in a jar at the bar will knock you on your butt if that amble beer selection doesn't impress you.

Waitstaff goes by fake names -- kinda hoakey but fun.
