I loved and respected the fact that he took the time to listen and make suggestions. He takes his work seriously as it is something you will have for the rest of your life.
Last night my husband I myself both got tattoos and we absolutely love them and I love him. Anyone needing a tattoo I would recommend seeing John 200%-

I was shopping for a tatt. I wouldn't let these people tattoo my dog. dimly lit, and dirty. Not impressed with the person I was talking with.

This is a sub par studio. You might a get a good tattoo, depending on who you get...and if they don't think it's a cool enough idea for them they shoot you down. Poor customer service. Oh well.

This is a real nice tattoo shop. I was a tattoo artist myself on Long Island and worked with some of the best Tattoo artist in the world. These guys at Planet NY are the best your gonna get north of the 5 boro's. The work that comes out of that shop is real nice.

You get a good tattoo no matter who you get there disappointed. Perhaps what you viewed as a shoot down was actually them trying to improve upon your idea...as artists they do that so that you are happier with the result.

FYI, they have one of the best records for cleanliness in that shop. Perhaps you are commenting on the wrong place, it is very well lit, clean, their sterilization procedures are the best around.
