Even Better!: I had a chance to have lunch at the newly expanded cafe part of the restaurant. The smoked salmon and penne were just to die for!!! And my friend's pannine with prosciutto and mozzarella were absolutely delicious. I hope they get a liquor license because a nice dry red would have been the perfect topper. The new section was a little chilly, but it was -10 with wind outside. Highly recommend checking it out - you won't be disappointed. Delicious food and reasonable prices.

LOVED IT!: WOW! LoCascio's is THE place to eat, that's for sure!!! We loved the cafe for dining - the food was beyond excellent! But those desserts............OH MY! Decadent! Then we stopped over at the deli and purchased lots of goodies like LoCascio's homemade seafood salad (awesome), and some terrific homemade meatballs and homemade sauce with pignoli nuts - YUMMMMMMM! You have to try this place, believe me you will be a regular customer. I sure am.

A Lovely Surprise: I heard raves about the food and decided to take a friend to lunch there while visiting Liberty. Admittedly, when we first walked in, I was underwhelmed by the plain almost stark ambiance. I turned to my friend to see if she wanted to go somewhere else, since we were looking for something extra special. Luckily we decided to stay. What a lovely suprise! The food was tasty and fresh. They have Italian specialties as well as old-fashioned deli. Since I needed some comfort food, I ordered an old favorite - a chicken parmagian hero. It was juicy and tender and had just the right amount of a delicious full-bodied, not-too-thick, not-too-thin homemade tomato sauce. Mmmmm! I was in heaven. My friend craved deli and ordered a large, mouth-watering pastrarmi sandwich - something she hadn't had in years. We were both delighted by our experience. The service was warm and friendly and the cafe to the side of the entrance turned out to provide a perfect atmoshpere for our long lunch. This is a real find.
