User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI don't live in PJ anymore but have eaten there on many occasions while visiting. The food is good. Portions are large. One thing that I can't get over is the service. It is pretty bad. I don't blame the wait staff. THere is just not enough servers for the crowds on holidays and weekend. I fault the management for not handling this properly. I guess they feel they have the "market" on the restaurant since there isn't really any competition in the area.

We eat here every time we go to High Point park,
( it's worth the trip down the mountain.)
Nice atmosphere, great food and service. We especially like eating on the patio in the summer. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starseverything is good, the ambiance, the meal, the drinks. I find the booths, and tables, to be cozy, I like the pictures on the walls, of the town, in the earky days. I have an enjoyable time each time I dine at the Erie.

Poor management by the brothers, especially Darryl. He is unprofessional and is a very bad cook. He's not even trained but prepares most of the banquet food on the other side. I personally saw his kitchens and they are gross! Dirty floors, working areas, etc...Food is not preparred properly and the service is the worst. They are lucky to be the only larger restaurant in that small town sothey get some business, but I would avoid this place if you can help it.
