Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: This is the movie theater to go to if your only choices are this and Capra Cinemas in Hancock. These people actually care about their patrons. They are open ALL year...not just when the camps are in session and holidays. The popcorn is the best I have had at a movie since I was a kid! It's just an old-fashioned no-frills place that will make you long for more treasures from "the good old days"!

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: Brings you back to the good ol' days when screens were big, tickets were reasonably priced, and theaters were family owned and run. I love the Callicoon Theatre and I appreciate that they run a "CineArts" program that brings more independent and foreign movies to the area. Go and support this great local theater!

Reviewed from Yahoo! Movies: They consciously sold us tickets to a movie (Shopaholic) who's film was scratched!!

After watching 1/4 of the movie with lines going through the center of the screen I got up to say something and they told me if it bothered me I could leave and get my money back but they wouldn't be showing the movie much longer. I had no choice but to sit through the film which looked like a bad bootleg.

After paying $14 to watch a scratched movie on a SMALL screen I will never go back.
