    We were trying to buy a truck, and the salesman insisted he couldn't get us a price on it till we submitted all finance info and put a down payment in his hand (which is a complete mistruth), and then came back with a price at least $4,000 over what the truck was worth and $7,000 more than we wanted to spend.... he wasted our entire day, then tried to get us to buy the truck anyway since we'd already invested so much energy and had the process 99% finished. Then the finance manager refused to give back the $500 cash down payment we got duped into giving...he said they'd deposited it into their system, and couldn't give it back, but could get us a check in a couple days. My boyfriend went bananas and demanded that they give us our money back. Never again, these people are crooks!!!
