While often busy the lattes are worth the wait. Saratoga is a bustling place. When a business located in the center of Saratoga makes fantastic fresh bagels, bagel sandwiches, great homemade soups and lattes better than the competition don't expect that you are the only person who frequents this wonderful non-Starbucks venue. I have spent hours at a time sipping lattes, browsing the internet and people watching.
If you're in Saratoga and looking for a place with character in which to relax with a good coffee and a bite, this is the only place to be.

Service with attitude. Heaven forbid you expect to order and pay for more than one coffee at a time. The vacuous baristas are likely to get their noses bent, huff & puff and proclaim how difficult their occupation is. Good coffee, but staff has "coffee nazi" mentality.

Someone complained in September that the coffee had a burnt taste to it. I had the same experience in October. On the other hand, I can't say that the service was indifferent. Instead, they were just there. Sort of like McDonald's servers are just there to take your order. They did what was asked of them.

Was it a warm and inviting place? I guess it could be at times. But not when I was there. The place was just way to crowded and busy. Despite being the largest coffee house I've ever experienced, the only available seat was at bar by the window, next to the trash can. And this was on a Monday afternoon at 3 PM!
