User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsHorrible food ! This place has got to be one of the worst restaurants in Plattsburgh. I ordered the veal one night there and it came out in a dish filled with pure oil. It was gross ! The bread they bring out is stale and tastes old. I would not recommend this place at all.

Its Plattsburgh, NY Italian food, in common
with no where else. The bread served with
dinner? White Bread. The Pizza?
Sauce is ok, put on a dough that never
rose, with cheese just slopped on there.
A small pie at a premium price. I had
Pizza like this before, from the Northwest.
Surprising we are only 290 miles from NYC,
where Pizza was invented more or less.
Definitely not the best food in town.
And I wonder if I went back 40 years,
was it like this?
Dinner entres? Well they charge extra for
a salad. Need I say more?
The service is good.
I bet, if the owners let some new
cook take over, the place would
do at least twice as good. Arnies
is what happens when an Italian Place
gets isolated for too long from the larger
Italian community. -

great food, poor service: The food is fantastic. Unfortunately, the retaurant is small so the wait staff focuses on getting you out the door quickly. If you're up for conversation over a great plate of food you'd better talk fast.

My friends love Arnies but I agree with the rater. There's better food in almost all other establishments in Plattsburgh.
