I've been going to Pitkins for 25 years....There are no better ribs served anywhere in the US of A. While I'm no expert in these things, I've eaten ribs in Texas, Oklahoma and New York and lots of places in between and I'll tell you, the ribs at Pitkins will stand up to any, anywhere.
the rest of the menu is good home cooked stuff well worth the trip....as for DeCeasars ... great Italian

I have to say, every time we have ever eaten at Pitkin's we have always enjoyed a fantastic home cooked meal and been treated with the utmost friendly service. We live in Latham and have a camp on Schroon River and try to get to Pitken's as much as possible !! Thank you, Pitkin's! Christina Di Cioccio and Troy Miller

Been here numerous times on my way up/back from the High Peaks. Staff is always friendly and quick. Breakfast is your average diner food (good, but nothing special), but the barbeque is worth the trip during lunch/dinner hours. Their home made sauce and desserts are top notch and priced right.
