User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of the best take outs...: Having eaten Chinese take out all over the world, Spring Garden is the best in the U.S.. I could eat there every day and that says alot for me. I must say that the Chinese spare ribs are the absolute best. There is actually meat on them...what a concept.

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBEST IN AUBURN, HANDS DOWN!: After a bad experience w/ food poisoning @ another local establishment (see my other reviews), I hestitantly tried Spring Garden this month. Several times. And it's soooo good. The food is fresh and tasty, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the preparation is prompt. Their sweet and sour chicken is excellent (breast meat, and light on the batter and the sauce itself is light, not cloying - i do wish they'd throw some carrot, green pepper, and pineapple in, but no one does that locally), as is their pork lo-mein, sesame chicken, and broccoli w/ garlic sauce. Their fried rice is okay, a little bland - (I prefer steamed rice anyway), I didn't care for their hot and sour soup (that's always a gamble, anywhere) but their egg rolls seemed tastier than the average. My only small complaint is that sometimes there isn't enough sauce on the entrees, but I believe that is because they actually fill your container w. entree, not sauce - in other words, you don't get giped. And on a side note? This restaurant was recommended, via a family member, by the local health department. Seriously great food.
