I eat there on my way through NY. The food was the best homemade cooking I have ever ate. I loved the home-like feel and the conversation was incredible. Do yourself a favor and stop there.

Along with some of the best traditional fare offered in Chenango County ( possibly the whole state! ) Donna has a collection of handmade quilts, pillows, scarves and much, much more. Check out her homemade jellies and preserves, pickles and pies - take some home, and you'll be hooked!!
After a tasty meal, look around the corner in the back and discover Weaver and traditional Spinner, Kathryn McMahons' studio. From handspun yarn made with her own fleeces from her flock of sheep, or exotic fibers from her friends and neighbors flocks (of Alpaca and registered Icelandic, Clun Forest , Corriedale or Border Leicester sheep,) to the 18th and 19th century coverlets she has collected, Kathryns'
studio has a lending library of weaving and spinning related materials, rag rugs for sale, and a table loom for teaching students to weave.
Kathryn specializes in using 18th and 19tht century spinning wheels and looms, and has been consultant to various museums on their collections over the years.
Come in for some fine food, excellent company and great deals on everything from quilts to yarn!
