This is a great family style restaurant. Very good Italian food not the most outstanding I have ever had but good indeed. If you are looking for an upscale, quiet Italian restaurant then this is probably not the place for you.
It is always busy, and the wait can sometimes be long as you can not make a reservation unless you have a party of 8 or more. Go before your at the starving point, look past the sometimes not so friendly wait staff and you will be pleased with the food, especially for the reasonable prices they charge.

The food is good although not terrific. The chicken riggies are some of the best in town, they say, and I would have to agree. I've tried many because I like the dish anyway and they are at least in the very top echelon. The downside of this restaurant is the service. It's usually TERRIBLE. Food service is incredibly slow regardless of how busy it is. Portion size is excellent. Desserts are good although usually you won't have room. Prices are fair. If they ever got better wait staff that moved faster it would really be great.

Dominick's is probably the most over rated restaurant I have ever been in.
The food is okay but nothing special and yes the portions are generous but if it isn't excellent then size is not important. I really do think they could do a lot better but they have lots of business so really do not care.
I avoid Dominick's at all cost.
