What's with this place? No matter what time of the day you go there, the parking lot is jammed packed, often with cars overflowing down the block on both sides of the street. And always a line to-be-seated forms, much like waiting to get on a ride at Disney. While you're waiting in line for your table they serve you hot coffee too. How good is that? Get to your table and the waittress is there ready to take your drink orders. Shortly after, she returns for your food orders. The menu is quite extensive. You can eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and all of your favorite snacks anytime of the day. The food is good, plentiful and reasonably priced. Service is fast, quite efficient and the waittreses are most pleasant. Here's a tip...Stella's has the best Italian toast in town for you toast efficianados! Got room after your meal? Try a dessert. They're scrumptious too, with pies and cakes to die for.
Stella's is also very handicap-friendly and fully accesible with plenty of room to manuever a walker or wheelchair in.
Don't miss a trip to Stella's. It has quickly become a Syracuse institution, much like the Dino-Saur BBQ and Heid's.
By the way, next time you visit Stella's, note the number of to-go containers that leave there. It appears that people can't even finish their generous portions.
    Will you be able to?

Stella's never disappoints you....food, service and staff are all wonderful. I especially love having breakfast there...whenever I feel like it, not only until a certain time! Price of food is also an incentive to bring the whole family.

No self-respecting “Northsider” has missed a trip to Stella’s. Let’s face it this place is a landmark! The food is good, the price is right and the service is great. The frittatas are huge and if they aren’t falling over the edge of the plate and three inches thick (I’m being facetious of course) then they didn’t make it right! There are few places in town that can line them up at the door four or five parties deep waiting for a table in a diner as expansive as Stella’s. The diner itself is a huge leap ahead of the old “trolley car” diner from which Stella’s made its debut. Definitely a place to visit if you’re a Betty Boop fan too!
