User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOdd mix of great meat and lady that hates people.: Miserable staff. Meat ball mix is excellent. Elderly lady behind the counter is about as friendly as your average IRS agent.
Recently they have added New York Mills pierogies etc. Often close earlier than advertised. One experience found I and fiancee arriving well before close to find doors locked. Lights were on, Lady saw us. Would not unlock door. Held up arms in an expression of "Eh. too bad."
You will not get a 'thank you." and questions are best directed towards butcher.
It this seems overly picky of a review, consider that "old time customer service" usually doesn't refer to a customer experience that stinks.

When you get to be her age, you'll be crusty and cranky too. Ok, she's not exactly Pearl Mesta, but they're still the best meatballs you'll ever have. And where else can you get Hapanowicz's kielbasa in the same place as world class meatballs.
