    What is it about the fast food restaurants at this end of Route 11? They are so much friendlier and the food is better. Stop on your way to Carousel Mall or on the way home.

    Where's the beef? Here!: I'm not a real fan of fastfood, but Wendy's is just one of those places that I can't seem to avoid. The Wendy's on Brewerton Road in North Syracuse is an excellent place to eat. The food is good, the prices are good and the staff is great and friendly. Dave Thomas rocks, and he'd be especially proud of the crew at this Wendy's.

    *Pro: Easy access, great for groups, families, etc., diverse menu, drive-thru is open late.

    *Con: No breakfast, no fish, no vanilla frosty.
