Everything about this operation (ECS), Jock, Ben, Mike, Chuck, and Chris, and our experience with them, was outstanding.

The exterior chimney of our colonial home (circa 1905) was crumbling mid way. ECS thoroughly inspected our home's chimney and heating system (which vented into the chimney) and provided us a comprehensive assessment and estimate. Jock, the owner, as well as his head mason of several decades, Ben, and his head sweep, Mike, fielded our many questions personally and visited the site several times prior to our hiring his company for the work. References provided by ECS, as well as those we acquired independently, were impeccable. Jock and Ben were quintessentially professional and courteous (as was everyone in his employ).

We devoted a great deal of time in researching the the work to be done to our chimney, as well as the many operations in Central New York that offered to perform it. We then acquired several estimates from companies in the Syracuse area that provided widely varying strategies, sense of workmanship, and costs for repair. After all that, the decision to retain ECS could not, as a result, have been clearer.

ECS completely rebuilt our external chimney from the shoulder at the base to the caps at the very top, while incorporating a new furnace liner for our gas water heater and furnace. The masons could not have been more courteous, professional, or skilled. Their attention to detail was more than impressive. Jock was incredibly sensitive to the concerns of our family as we undertook such a project on our home, taking care of everything from permits and inspections to dumpster scheduling and brick matching, and many other details. He provided daily updates, answered all questions, and even stopped by frequently to inspect personally as the worked progressed, no matter how busy he was. The work was done quietly, cleanly, timely, and perfectly.

Expert Chimney Services is not only the best chimney service enterprise we have ever researched and retained, but simply the best business we have ever dealt with, hands down.

My chimney was cleaned today by Expert Chimney. I was very concerned that there could be soot damage to my home as I have had a bad experience in the past with another company. I was so pleased with the chimney sweeps thorough job,as well as the care he took in keeping my house completely spotless. I could not be more satisfied
