I can't imagine these people changing after all these years! I studied at this school years ago and the staff and pupils were all so nice and patient. I was a young, awkward little girl that they helped to mature into a graceful young lady!

They have great facilities and a pleasant staff, I feel at home every time I train.

I brought my 7 year old son to Tearney's three years ago. When he started, he lacked self-control, listening skills, and respect for authority. I tried my best to keep him busy in different sports (hockey, soccer, baseball), but he still lacked discipline. After our last parent/teacher conference, I followed the advice of a family friend and visited the school. I remember being so impressed by the discipline. The students showed courtesy to each other and their instructors.
Long story short, karate gave my son self-control, courtesy, respect, and self-discipline. I could go on and on about the countless benefits my son gained from his training. Having Tearney's is like having another support system. His behavior at home and at school has improved tenfold. Karate provided the structure he lacked. Even his grades have improved. His teachers can't believe the positive changes in him! I would recommend Tearney's to anyone looking for a positive influence in their child's life. The character he is building at Tearney is quite possibly the best investment we have ever made!
