    I have boycotted Heid's for the past 5 years after consistently receiving rude service. I will not go back. I miss the nostalgia of eating at Heid's, but Hofmann's Hot Haus is superior in every way. GREAT, FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, PROMPT service and of course, a delicious hot dog. You will not be disappointed.

    Hoffman's Hot Haus hot dogs and coneys are plumper, juicier, and less greasy than Heid's. Hoffman's menu offers more variety and the options are home-made. Pickles are the best in Syracuse, relish is home-made and I agree the mustard cannot be beat! Wednesday nights in the summer you can check out all the classic cars too!!

    Best in the cuse!: Heids is not comparison. It's about more than the hot dog to me. Yeah, theyre both hoffman's, but the hot haus seems to consistently have softer fresher buns & also better mustard (by far!), and those 2 things make a difference! I'm a hot dog and coney fiend, the hot haus is my favorite place to get my fix.
