    While I see that a couple people mention that it's the one of the nicest restaurants in old forge... It should be noted that there are only a FEW restaurants in Old Forge at all.

    I've now eaten at the Old Mill on 3 occasions, and each a bigger disappointment than the last. Tonight, our meal came to $51.00 for fried haddock, dry chicken, and a kids grilled cheese. The food was awful. The fish was no better than that you'd get at any fish fry for $5 on a friday (NOT $17!). The chicken was bland and flavorless... The waitress had dirty fingernails and the booth seats were duck taped. Paper napkins when the average dinner is over $25? It's insulting. I'm tempted to call it a dump, but it's not... It's simply priced at about double, or triple what it should be. It is NOT fine dining by a long shot. I don't expect to sit on duck taped seats and have paper placemats like some dumpy diner and have the average meal over $25!!!! I highly recommend AVOIDING the Old Mill at all costs.

    It was one of the best restaurants that we tried in town. The staff was nice and helpful and the food was great. The prices were really good for what it included. I would definetly recommned this place and go there again.

    Wonderful resturant: We thouroughly enjoyed our meal from the delicious pot of soup, the fresh salad to the delicious entrees. Our party had the duck, great, the shepard pie, wonderful, the prime rib out of this world anf finally the stuffed chicken delicious. Best resturant I have eaten at in ages. Great atmosphere, the bar is bueatiful.
