About:This classic Adirondack eatery is named for its knotty pine interior. The menu features prime rib and steaks cut to order, a variety of veal and chicken dishes, lamb chops, cold water lobster tails, Alaskan King crab legs, shrimp and scallops. They are closed on Mondays.

    Have been eating at the Knotty Pine since the mid 60's. Consistently best meal in Old Forge.

    I Frequent the Knotty Pine, Cindy and Gary are great hosts. The food is really great. Be sure to eat at the Knotty Pine when you are visiting the Adirondacks.

    Also they do a great deal of catering. Find the events they cater. Went on the Old Forge Lake Cruises Wine and Food Pairing on June 5Th. The appetizers were provided by the Knotty Pine. They were excellent, the Scallops and the other items were outstanding. Next time be sure to attend the Cruises too.

    Great Job to all at the Knotty Pine, excellent service, great food and fun place to visit. It is great in my book.

    Great Food: I eat at this restaurant often. They have great specials and a good variety, not just chicken and fish
