User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI don't agree at all with the previous comments. The Titan Factory Rep. who took us on a tour of the factory was outstanding. We got to see our Home being built and as an avid do-it-yourselfer Farm/Country boy I'm no stranger to a hammer or building and I have to say the work being done on our home was just super. It is well constructed and the materials used are top-notch. I hired my brother as the general contractor for the foundation and site work and it is excellent. The sales staff at Moores in Rutland, VT have been absolutely super. Although our home has yet to be set-up on-site, I have no doubts or worries from what I have seen so far. I suggest anyone buying a manufactured home do their research and homework though as there are a lot of low-end builders and site/set up contractors out there. I picked Titan Homes and Moores Homes in Rutland VT after 4 years of serious research of Manufactured Homes. All I can say is you get what you pay for. If you expect by paying for a base priced low-end model and using low-bid site contractors you are going to get away with having a home with no problems, then I suggest you re-think what you are doing and hire a reputable general contractor whom you trust to oversee the site work and upgrade-upgrade-upgrade the model you are getting with features like better insulation, drywall, heavy roof load, etc etc etc. Even with all the upgrades you can get, you'll still be thousands under a stick built home. Check into the dealers reputations by talking to people who have bought homes from them. If they are good, they will have no problems giving out some names of some of their customers for you to speak with. There are also several books on how to not get shafted when buying a munufactured home, buy one, it may save you some real headaches later on. Do your homework like we did and you will get a great home at a great price. Thank You Titan and Thank You Moores of Rutland VT.

Mobil Home: Home had many flaws and service was terrible. No one in service returned calls. Noting was done in a timely nor professional manner.

I completely agree with the previous comment. Home was not set up right to start. Marriage line can be seen as the carpet sinks down into it. Windows come right out of framed wall. Floors are buckled. Frame was rusty and used.
