We have had nothing but positive experiences with Doggie Doo. We have had them groom our cats -both tangled up long hairs that don't like to be brushed-, and they used real cat restraints and products on the cats (unlike my previous groomer). They don't charge crazy fees for cats being cats during a grooming session either, some groomers have charged me fees for my cats peeing, scratching, or biting... None of these issues even came up during their session at doggie doo. My cats actually behaved for their groomers!!
We also have a rescue dog who is really shy around people he doesn't know (and sometimes even those he does). In the last six months he has gotten less shy and more confident than we were able to accomplish on our own during the previous year with play dates and dog park time. Our dog goes willingly to daycare, and doesn't tuck his tail. All I have to say is "daycare" and he's running for the door. We have kenneled our dog there (and opted for daycare with the kenneling), and had no troubles. I've heard "horror stories" from people at the dog park, but they amounted to "my dog had another dog's drool on him" or "my dog wasn't happy with me after I kenneled him for a week." The drool thing I just laughed at (especially as another dog licked her dog), and depending on your dogs personality, a couple days away from home and their human is going to mean a huge guilt trip (and possible short term personality changes)-- that's not the pet care center's fault. We've even had our dog groomed there a couple times, and I came back early to see him happy, tail wagging, and enjoying the attention. (And with a rescue puppy with trust issues, that's just a beautiful sight!) Our local veterinarian wants us to continue to bring our dog to daycare because even they have noticed a difference in his confidence.
I highly recommend them, have had nothing but positive experiences with my cats and dog.
I've never had any problems at A Doggie Doo! They treat my dogs great and are always very helpful. Paul G. is not the owner's husband his name is Bob and he's the best! People shouldn't post lies on the internet, but should know what theyr'e talking about before saying such horrible things. Remember our kids will be on the net on day and see all the negitivity and lies that people post without research or evidence! Just food for thought!
Dont take your pet here. I brought my 2 dogs here for three days, with enough food to last them 4. When I got them back, less than half had been used. My dogs came home and ate food in the middle of the day, which they have never done before. Also, they had told me over the phone on two seperate occasions they charged by the night, so I would be charged for 2 nights, but then I got there they charged me for three days, said they dont charge by the night, and preceeded to tell me that if it was a big deal, they would refund my third day charge directly from the employees paycheck that had told me that over the phone. If you love your animals and want them taken care of DO NOT SEND THEM HERE

I have had friends who boarded their small mix at A Doggie Doo. When they picked the dog up, they brought it out to the car and found a shock collar on it. They brought the collar back inside where all that was said was "oh you weren't suppose to see that." I have heard about shock collars from more than one past (but no more) customers.
I don't know who you but printing this false statement on this computer you can bet i will find out and i'm not stopping this time you will be sued for falsifying information. WE do not or NEVER did use shock collars. You should be a shame of yourself. This must be Wendy from Shaggy Dog or Sharon from Best Friends. When will you two grow up and stop being so jeolous of what we have done and you can't. This is Lisa the owner by the way.
ALL AMERICAN -the "owner" of Doggie Doo - typically writes her OWN reviews. She ALWAYS threatens to sue, that's her M.O.... but they're hollow threats, and she knows it. I called once and spoke to her about some conditions I saw that I thought were alarming, and she immediately threatened me. No business sense, no customer courtesy, and extremely poor employee base (inexperienced, low-to-no-education, no animal husbandry skills). Also, the owner (and her husband) typically can't spell and have poor grammar structure in their emails and postings -- another easy way to spot their self-reviews. If people would stop taking their dogs to Doggie Doo, they'd finally shut down their dog care services. Lisa - stick to selling pet supplies and food, and I think you and the citizens of Watertown would be MUCH happier. One day, you ARE going to get sued, and you will lose EVERTYHING. I suggest you take some business classes at the Jr College and evaluate where you're going wrong, beginning with consistent quality care of the animals that your customers trust you with. To your customers, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND they record all dealings, conversations, and encounters with your business before and after placing a pet in your care.
I don't know who this proud soldier character is, but he needs to get his facts straight! Your posting was very recent, and Lisa is no longer a part of doggie doo, it was taken over by her husband and that's me! If you have a problem with her you take that up with her, if you have aproblem with me be and man and talk to me directly! I'm a very proud soldier and I retired over 7 years ago. I feel your comments on the internet show a weakness in your ability to face people. I'm honest hardworking businessman and will not sit around and watch a coward degrade my business over a problem that I did not know existed. Come to me and we'll talk and come to terms or keep your opinions to yourself.
