The best place to eat in the 1000 Islands. The french onion is to die for. Food presentation is a work of art. The chef/owner should be a Las Vegas chef...he`s better than Emeril & Wolfgang combined! Not a cheap place to eat but worth every penny!
The chef is a model example of customer service: Simpson's eatery is one that has the variety of Tin Pan Alley...albeit larger than the bistro like atmosphere at the Sackets Harbor joint. The chef makes a point of coming out to the tables to get feedback from the patrons...very rare in todays get-them-in-get-them-out dining enviornment. The dining options run the gamut..and often change each year as Simpson travels the globe in the off season to get fresh ideas and some new inspiration after the busy summer months. Food quality and service are generally worth the pricey tab.
NY TRIP- WILL RETURN AND RECOMMEND: GREAT FOOD. OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND STAFF.
ROOM: CLEAN AND KEPT NEAT. LIKE LIGHT COLORS ON WALLS AND THE REMODEL SINCE OUR LAST STAY.
