We just got back from teh Sherwood Inn. The place was clean but that's all I can say. The owners spoke little to no English, and in "mid-town" AMERICA was a bit anoying. The porch on the front was nice to relax, The food was poor at best. Will I go back probably not.

I first visited the Inn in 2003 on New years eve and it was wonderful, great food and atmosphere. Had the best Lobster cocktail. In 2004 my boyfriend and I came back again, once again it was great. We were married on Oct 13, 2006 and spent our honeymoon there and the menu and service went from a 10+ to about a 3. We once again called in 2007 to make a reservation, hoping we'd just had a bad experience the last time and that things had gotten better, but when we called they told us they no longer served dinner. This was once one of our favorite place to stay and my husband drove by it today and called me to say it was for sale, today is 8/8/2008. How did such a wonderful place go down hill so quickly?
