User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Farmhouse was a horrible place to eat before the new owners took over. Now it is absoluty excellent. The atmosphere is great along with the food and prices. Best in western New York. Unique dining. You can taste the freshness and love in every bite. I highly reccomened the pasta pie!

I disagree with Jessy. I think the Farmhouse is a great place to eat. I wouldn't call it the best, but I wouldn't call it the worst by far. I wouldn't call any restaurant the best, each has their qualities. The Farmhouse really makes you feel at home, yet still an elegant and classy place, with prices that won't knock you out of your chair.

I noticed all these reviews have 5 stars. Do they write there own? Trust me the Farmhouse is terrible. The food is cold and tastes like they just defrosted a frozen entree...I used to go there frequently but slowly they began to deteriate. You may want to Ignore the dusty cobwebs all over the ceiling fabric..
The Farmhouse Restaurant is under new management as of Jan 08. The entire Restaurant has been remodeled , new menu, new executive chef, and no more salad bar.For those who have not tried the Restaurant since Jan 08 you are in for a pleasant suprise!!!
The Farmhouse is under new management!!!! Yay, the food used to be terrible and the place wasnt clean. Now its beautiful, the people are very friendly and the food is amazing. I would say this restaraunt is the best in Oneonta BY FAR!!!!!! I would eat their everynight if I could afford it. JUST LOVE THAT PLACE
I wrote a very unfavorable review in 07. This is when it was still under Martys ownership. I revisited it after reading the reviews under new management and I must say... what a turn around. Great food, beautiful decor, clean, and friendly service. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! Will definately be back.
