The food is always good, and they have the best cold meats in town. However, the atmosphere makes me avoid the place unless my craving gets the best of me. The owner always seem hurried and in a bad mood. The staff has this shield of arrogance that seems impossible to penetrate. When I want a lunch of a nice cup of coffee...I dont want to feel as though I'm a bother to the person making it for me. Again, good food, over priced, bad service. I'd much prefer the other cafe on main street. The coffee there is delicious and the customer service is thousands of time better!! I give it 3 stars only because of the food quality.

I have been on the phone with John at Garf's about 4 times in the past two days. What a great person to deal with!! He was extremely helpful. I will be a repeat customer, you can bank on that. Thanks for such great customer service!!

Norwich's little secret!: Passing through Chenango County on a recent day trip, my husband and I happened across Garf's Deli in the center of Norwich. Wonderful food with an incredible staff! Beautiful smiling faces, and mouth watering sandwiches! In addition to the creative "grown up" fare, burgers and hot dogs, and even peanut butter and jelly were available for the kids!! Bravo Garf's, Bravo!!!
