I travel to oneonta twice a year and each time I always make sure that I have Mama nina's pizza.. They have the best cheese pizza I have ever eaten. I love their garlic knots and you should make sure to have their caesar salad.

A must place to go to when in Oneonta. I wish they were closer to where I live.

This past weekend, October 17th, 2008, I visited my family in Oneonta. I used to live there myself. So during our family get-together, we decided to order some pizza and wings from Mama Nina's. This is exactly what we ordered: 2 lg pizza's. One pie just cheese. The 2nd pie w/pepperoni and sausage. Also, we ordered 2 double orders of wings. This was by far the most disgusting and over-priced food I have ever eaten. $15.00 for a cheese pizza??? For each add'l topping was $3.50. So $7.00 for pepperoni and sausage, that were so skimpy. The dough was just that...dough. Undercooked with the consistancy of cardboard. The wings were so tiny that one of our guests actually said "these look like cornish game hen wings, not chicken wings". We probably could have gotten past the size, but the oil that was used was BROWN!!! Makes you wonder when the last time the oil was changed. So $74 and change for 2 lg pies..one just cheese, the other pepperoni and sausage (what there was of it) and 2 double orders of wings. They obviously do not care about their customers or the quality of their food. Looked to me, my family and our friends, that the only thing that mattered to them were the amount of bling they were wearing, and the lambourghini's they were driving. NO JOKE!! We will never order food from there again, nor will ANYONE I know!! I wouldn't even give this establishment one star except for the fact that I HAVE to in order to complete this review.

Nasty Experience: I ordered a plain large pizza pie at the high cost of $13 and recieved something extra special inside..a 4 inch long dark-brown/black strand of hair under the cheese. Disgusted I telephoned them to let them know someone needed to at the very least tie their hair back. Nobody identified themselves as managment, very unprofessional service, asked me what I wanted to do about it, offered to give me a replacement pie. After the first one, I had serious reservations about what I might find or not find but consume with a replacement one. If they had wanted to keep a customer they might have tried apologizing for my unfortunate experience and then offer to at least refund my money in exchange for their hairy pizza pie!
I really got the impression they just didn't care, I don't know if it's because they all seem to be so young or perhaps just bad business ethics, but I would highly discourage anyone from eating there. I certainly will never again.
