This restaurant is really run down. Despite recent "renovations" it still looks like it needs an overhaul, especially the carpet - yikes. The food was average at best, nothing special and very expensive. This place is a little flashback to the 80's, nothing really modern or inivative going on here.
Excellent food, great service. French onion soup is out of this world, not to be missed! Prices are a little on the high side, but this is a great place to go for a special occasion! Dessert tray looks delicious, but I've never tried any...never any room! I would highly recommend greek stuffed tenderlion or greek chicken, both are fabulous.
By many considered the best food in the area; even the appetizers are better than most entreeâs; and you'll remember everything about them years latter.
Of course they also cost as much as most places entreeâs; but because of this If you don't have the money to buy an entree there, but do have the money to buy one somewhere else, I'd recommend buying an appetizer there, and then eating something latter at home; and dare you not to try recreating it for yourself over the next year.
For those with the money it is by far the best place in B.C., the copper cricket, under different ownership, and Whatâs Your Beef (when it existed) used to be up there for a close 2nd and third, with the nearby Whole in the Wall being ideal for those ultra health conscious, and any type of vegetarian; but now only the Whole in the Wall comes close; and it serves a completely different need, and arguably cliental.
