User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsGREAT PLACE! stopped there while traveling with our parents. It was recommended by the hotel we were staying at and they were right on. We had the scallops, ribs, and BBQ chicken and it was excellent.

STAFF IS VERY RUDE!!!!!!! For some reason they have very bad attitudes. Waitress was anything but friendly, and very sarcastic! Food was good but the service ruined it for me. I'd never go back unless there was a whole new staff!

I recently went to dinner with friends at Alex's. Our experience was less than enjoyable...both bartenders, one male, one female, definately need training with their interpersonal skills...were not welcoming, and did not ask us if we would like another drink before dinner. In general, many members of their staff need to be more welcoming and friendly. The food is very good and the atmosphere is cozy. Too bad the customer service staff isn't at the same level. If you don't feel welcome and enjoy the visit, there is no desire to return. A good restaurant is more than just good food!

There has been a BIG change over in staff since this review. Many new and friendly faces to add to a great dinning experience. Give them another try, you'll be surprised.
