User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsVisiting from upstate and craving a good Italian meal, I searched for a restaurant that offered a variety of my favorite dishes. I found the selection well rounded, the food excellent and the service friendly and prompt. The shrimp scampi was full of flavor with nicely cooked shrimp, sauce superb. The eggplant parm was lightly breaded , allowing the good tasting eggplant to come through. Sauce again very good. Brother said the linguine alfrado was very good, with cream sauce not too heavy not too light. Portion size good for the price. Husbands scallops were tender , plentiful and sauce very good. Italian salad dressing better than any I have ever had. We'd definitely go again. Oh yes, please put an olive in the Bloody Mary next time.

I have been a life-long patron of Cortese. It houses the most friendly staff and has the most unique and delicious pizza and food I have ever had. Granted, the dinning room can be crowded at times and you may have to wait a short stint for a table but believe me IT'S WORTH THE WAIT.

Unique, tasty pizza. Dining room can be a little crowded because of its popularity. A longtime favorite with locals.
