Decor style is interesting and changes with the holidays, valet parking is nice on a cold or rainy day.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have been at Salvatore's, and stayed at the Garden Place Inn several times, always bringing other friends with us. The experience is wonderful. Both places are extremely clean and everyone is very friendly and professional. The food is excellent and the ambience is great.

Way overrated! Prop themselves has a high class rest. The food is prepped early in the day and not made to order. This gives everything that over cooked feel. The prices are extreme. Drinks over priced. Staff not bad. Actually ran into Joe Salvatore and he was rude. Scenary is well done. If your into 1980's Italian scenary. In all Buffalo area has some incredible dining. This would be my last choice for high end dining. Try some hot spots downtown. Hertel Ave if you want good Italian, Main street Amherst for high end.

Joe Salvatore rude? You must be talking about someone else.
Perhaps he had a bad day...but it was Joe Salvatore, and he was rude enough for me to make this comment. I will clarify that my experiance with the remaining staff was very good. They were very professional. I see the other ratings here giving high reviews. This place is a staple within the community, but my review stands. I have no personal animosity just trying to honestly give my opinion. I believe they need to redecorate, and improve the food, or lower prices. There are too many other options for a fantastic dining experience within the Buffalo area.
I dont know what place you were in but it wasen't Salvatores. Besides its Russ not Joe and he is anything but rude to anyone. He is the probably the best owner in town when it comes to being with his customers. Even with the large size of his place he keeps the personal touch. Your facts are anything but factual. All his food is to order. You were probably at a subway not Salvatores. As for he decor....Thats what makes Salvators, "Salvators" Its not just your average place. You got to learn to accept differetn styles in life not just the smae old thing. And make NO DOUBT its the best Banquet place in town too!
Whatever Russ, Joe, Bob, he was obviously Salvatore, and he was rude you can defend him all day but i had a bad experience here and wont be back. And nop was not subway was this place. And anyone can walk thru any of the dozens of reviews i have done and see i give a fair and honest opinion some good some bad. Not my fault he was rude and not my fault the place needs improvement. instead of comments on here why dont you guys fix your place. and i have no comment on banquets here. im sure they are good. my comments on the decor still stand it is over the top, and im my humble opinion its aweful. but again its one of the most well known places in the area and obviously very successful so take the opinion for what its worth.
