this place was/is a real dive. from the reveiws i was expecting a pleasant family restuarant. after touring letchworth our party or 10 arrived at abotu 7pm on a sat. the place was disaster. i hardly know where to begin.

it has the look of a run down eatery well past it's prime. there were mismatched cups, bowls, plates, etc. random, scattering of wall decor placed with no serious thought given to it. almost like "hey honey, look what i found. let's stick it on the wall......here!". pink seat covers on the benches, with various pine trim pieces and other woods were used. in some places a kind of marbleized trim around the windows was used as well as for the wainscoting. for the flooring - same rule applied..."hey bertha - what's on sale this week? let's put that in". various tiles on the floor helped to create a mixed, uninviting atmosphere. serving utensils - same thing. mismatched cups, mugs, plates, bowls.

so was all the this worthwhile? bottom line... was the food worth staying for since they cut so many corners on teh decor? that depends. cheap is the word that best describes this place. cheap is not reasonable. it's bottom of the barrel, lil better than the dog gets at the end of the day, which is what we got. a couple of my folks were too fearful to even try to eat. of those who did - plates were not cleaned off. the turkey burger was rated the worst. some of the dinner plates were ordered and not one complement resulted. mac salad from one plate tasted ok. was told that was because it probably was prepared elsewhere.

this was a real dissappointment; ruined a really great road trip and one of the last good days of our autumn. you can be certain that when i pass through the area next year i'm going elsewhere.

We go quite often, fast and good is important to my husband. The waitresses are always nice and the food is as good as it gets , homemade tasty ! Thx Cheryl

Good Prices, Good Food: Very nice family restaurant! They have the best prices around, especially breakfast.
