| About: | In 1949, two brothers, Edward and Bertrand Hoak, purchased what was to become Hoak's restaurant. The restaurant was opened in November of 1949. Gus Hoak and Gus Sr., "Pop" Hoak, added their wit and personality to the everyday operation of the young business in 1955. Ed's son's purchased the business from Bert in 1977. The restaurant offers a lovely view of the Buffalo skyline and the Canadian shore, which is only surpassed by the beautiful sunsets. We are constantly striving to maintain the fine tradition and quality of service and food which has made Hoak's a familiar name to those seeking a friendly family atmosphere. Banquet rooms available. |

The food is amazing!! Best fish fry in town by far! I also LOVE the cajun baked shrimp and scallops. Also, you have to try the stuffed peppers or stuffed mushrooms! I always crave their food and it never disappoints. The people are so nice.. especially the waitress Bridget and the bartender Kevin
AMAZING FOOD!!! the shrimp and scallops was AMAZING!!! I love this place, the bartenders are awesome and very good looking!!
Possibly the best piece of fish I've ever had, but they pack you in like sardines and the place is filthy dirty!

wow DISAGREE completly.... i worked in many "clean" chain restaurants and Hoak's was a million times better, and way more clean than a chain restaurant!
