| About: | This is the ultimate beef lover's restaurant. For over 75 years the Red Osier has been noted for its prime rib dinner, which is carved and served tableside. The ribs are aged and then marinated for 48 hours in a unique seasoning, then slow roasted in a special oven. Choose from the 1-lb. Princess Cut, 1 1/2-lbs. Queen Cut, 2-lbs. Bishop Cut, or if you are really hungry, the 4 1/2-lbs. Call Cut. They also serve seafood, including Alaskan King Crab and lobster from New Zealand and Australia. They have a catering division, and their beef is also available at local ballparks and delis. - Christine A. Smyczynski |

We were amazed! It's a beautiful setting, especially during the holidays. We dined right next to the fireplace and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Our meals were excellent (surf and turf) and most of all we enjoyed the PRICE. Where else can you get lobster bisque for $5.50 a bowl? Filet mignon and lobster for less than $20? (with a coupon from their website)
We will definitely make the trip again in the future.
Best restaurant in Western New York: I personally know people who make the trip from Buffalo and Rochester. I don't just hear about them. If you want prime rib, this is the real deal. The lobster pot with your prime rib is a MUST! I'd say go smaller on the beef to get the lobster pot to avoid over-indulgence, which can happen way too easily.
I've also worked with their catering/sandwich cart staff at events and they are tremendous people to work with!
